As a Musculoskeletal physiotherapist I have additional expertise in the treatment of neck pain and headaches of cervicogenic origin. This means headaches that are caused from a musculoskeletal problem in your neck. Similarly problems with your jaw such as grinding your teeth, clicking or locking can contribute to headaches .There are some serious conditions that can cause headaches, neck pain or jaw pain and as an experienced clinician if I am concerned that your condition is not of musculoskeletal origin I will refer you to your Medical Practitioner. Often though, poor posture, stress and past neck trauma can cause these symptoms and I can help relieve your symptoms and advise you on ways to reduce recurrences .Both the Pilates and yoga programmes offered onsite can be a great way for you to reduce tension, strengthen your postural muscles and balance your work and home lifestyle.
